Taking a bite out of my sprouted buckwheat groats, banana, raspberry and almond milk concoction this morning, I was inspired with the tastes my palate received.

When is food beautiful?

Enzymes, Nutrients, Vitamins.

Thriving out of each tender little sprout, fruit, and vegetable.

This is beauty…

When you take a bite into your food, you taste each and every piece of nourishment.

Definition, Food |foōd|noun: any nutritious substance that people or animals eat or drink, or that plants absorb, in order to maintain life and growth.

You tell me which foods are classified as sustenance and which are simply fillers…

I haven’t such feelings ever in my life..Could it be enhanced from the food? Feelings of joy, happiness, and giddiness from the slightest of things. If you take the time to look around, at each little detail, you can discover things you’ve never thought about before.

At the macro level, we see the Earth. Green grass, blue skies, yellow sun, tall trees. Looking more in-depth at the world, we can uncover such spectacles. Glistening dew drops on the tips of leaves, wriggling earth worms, lizards scurrying across the pavement, clouds drifting through the sky.

Viewing the world in it’s strikingly beautiful, natural state improves my state of being, making each and every day a bit more enjoyable by knowing such magnificent eukaryotes and prokaryotes exist on this planet so effortlessly, as they should.

Little beech mushroom family…

    Those are the cutest mushrooms!

I wish I knew what it was like to have tons of energy and super happiness. I’m dying to start eating better, but I’m just not sure what I can even do since I live at home. :( And I’ve been getting sick more often than I usually do. I know it’s cause I don’t choose the best of foods that I can when I’m not swamped with school and work and am gone all day long.

Anyways, great post! This is how I feel about food too.

    • Thanks Kai, as always :)
Make sure to eat a lot of vitamin C foods if you’re getting sick! Oranges, strawberries, kiwis, bell peppers, broccoli, brussel sprouts, tomatoes.. Should make you feel better for sure!
maybe take an orange or apple, banana, pear, etc to school… quick and easy snacks to fuel you throughout the day. Every little bit counts.
For me it’s also the mindset ya know, positive vibes make the world go round :)
