Ok so this is one of those recipes where your taste buds are going to determine the appropriate amounts. Be CREATIVE in the kitchen, now’s your time to shine.

I threw everything in the food processor and added as needed. It’s nice when you can look at your food creation and be proud that the final product is exactly how you want it to be, based on exactly what you wanted.

Customization at its finest, I am challenging you for the better.

So I will give you a general ratio of ingredients below of what I used and you add a lil more or a lil less depending on your palate’s desires.

Not too sweet, I couldn’t get enough of this stuff

3-4 cup dry roasted peanuts (I used unsalted)

~3 tbsp tahini***

2 tbsp blackstrap molasses

1-2 tsbp carob powder

1-2 tsbp whole flaxseeds

pinch himalayan salt (optional, I left out)



-Blackstrap mol will adjust the sweetness

-Tahini will adjust the creaminess

-Carob will affect the intensity of the carob notes and texture as well

-Flaxseeds add a bit of a nutty taste once ground..and ALA omega 3’s (alpha-linolenic)

-Use unsalted peanuts then add salt to your preference, this will allow you to control the sodium content



1. Add peanuts to food processor and blend until smooth consistency is achieved. Depending on your food processor, it’ll take at least a few minutes and you may need to scrape down the sides as you go.

2. Add in rest of ingredients and blend until all is combined.

3. For CHUNKY pb, add some more peanuts in and “pulse” or briefly process ingredients until peanuts are mixed in and chopped, but still retain their shape.

4. Store in mason jar or air-tight container in fridge, should last quite a while.
