Hello all, I hope you are enjoyin’ the New Year so far. Get ready, because I have a feeling 2013 is going to be filled with splendor and surprises :)

To start off this New Year with a bit of fun, I have an Organic Virgin Coconut Oil giveaway for you guys!

My thoughts on Tropical Traditions coconut oil: I have tried several different coconut oil brands in my days and enjoyed ’em all, but in all honesty, Tropical Traditions Coconut oil was the smoothest and creamiest coconut oil I’ve ever sinked my hands into. I don’t know how they do it, but that’s ok…As long as they continue to produce such luscious oil I shall be happy.

I felt very fortunate to receive this 32 oz organic coconut oil. Not only organic, but unrefined cold-pressed too! Receiving healthy treats means more to me than any clothing, jewelry, or other physical adornment could ever even attempt. I know this coconut oil will do only swell things for my body, thus I could ask for no more. Much thanks gracious peeps over at Tropical Traditions :)

Coconut oil is great for baking and cooking. No need to worry about rancidity occurring for temperatures up to 350 degrees F. Besides culinary concoctions, coconut oil is splendid for topical usage as well. I never wear perfume nor any sort of fragrance, just good ol’ sweet coconut oil. ‘Tis my favorite moisturizer and even once this Tropical Traditions coconut oil solidifies at temperatures below 76 degrees F, it’s still super rich and yielding to your skin.

So, want to try out your chances at scoring some of this sweet stuff for your self? Super easy and what would it hurt, you may just WIN SOME FREE ORGANIC COLD-PROCESSED COCONUT OIL!!! WOOOO.

You need to subscribe to their email newsletter here, Subscribe to Tropical Traditions and leave me a comment stating your favorite uses for coconut oil or describing the health benefits to this organic, unrefined coconut goodness.

1. “Like” The Road Not Processed’s facebook page

2. Subscribe to The Road Not Processed (located in the left sidebar, enter your email address)

3. Follow me on twitter, @Roadnotprcssd

So stay tuned and good luck my friends, this is truly a grand oil to add to your healthy pantry.

The winner is Ruvi Samaniego! Congrats Ruvi.

I hope you enjoy this wonderful coconut oil as much as I did! You shall be receiving this beautiful coconut oil shortly. I have contacted you via email.

Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil - 32 oz.Win 1 quart of Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil!

Tropical Traditions is America’s source for coconut oil. Their Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil is hand crafted in small batches by family producers, and it is the highest quality coconut oil they offer. You can read more about how virgin coconut oil is different from other coconut oils on their website: What is Virgin Coconut Oil?

You can also watch the video they produced about Gold Label Virgin Coconut Oil:

Tropical Traditions also carries other varieties of affordable high quality coconut oil. Visit their website to check on current sales, to learn about the many uses of coconut oil, and to read about all the advantages of buying coconut oil online. Since the FDA does not want us to discuss the health benefits of coconut oil on a page where it is being sold or given away, here is the best website to read about the health benefits of coconut oil.

If you order by clicking on any of my links and have never ordered from Tropical Traditions in the past, you will receive a free book on Virgin Coconut Oil, and I will receive a discount coupon for referring you.

I use coconut oil for EVERYTHING. I cook with it, but I also use it as a moisturizer. In fact, whenever I get out of the shower, even my cats are waiting to get some. They beg until I give them each a little bit, and purr while they’re eating it.

  11. Hello hello! I love to use coconut oil for roasting and sauteeing veggies, especially due to the slightly tropical flavor it imparts in everything. I also use coconut oil all the time in baking and making raw desserts–it’s especially great as a much healthier substitute for Earth Balance or other vegan butters.

  36. Hi! I’m so excited to see this post! I just love coconut oil! My favorite way to use this oil is to make coconut pancakes with it. I have a recipe on my blog, The Soulful Spoon. It makes such a great addition to pancakes because when you coat the pan with coconut oil, not only is it heat stable, but it gives the pancakes a delicious crusty finish that is healthy for you. I also like using it as lip balm because it makes my lips so soft and tastes delicious!

  224. Nancy

I especially love Tropical Traditions coconut oil over and above ALL other brands I’ve tried. I cook and bake with it. My face and hands drink it up and I give it to my 16 year old cat. But my most recent use (after watching Dr. Mercola’s report on it) is for ‘oil pulling’. First thing in the morning, swish about a tablespoon CO through your teeth for 20-30 min. After doing this for about 6 weeks, I went for a dental checkup and cleaning. My hygienist was amazed at my healthy teeth and gums. Very little plaque to scrape off and NO staining from all the green tea I drink daily! I told her about the coconut oil pulling and she said it appears to be working. This simple oil pulling every day also pulls toxins from your whole body. It’s worth the small expense and little effort. For details on how and why to do coconut oil pulling, check out Dr. Mercola’s site.
