Today’s juice was more on the savory side. I wanted to throw in some variety compared to the past few days of typically fruit laden juices. I really enjoyed this as it was not overbearingly sweet as some juices may be and it was a tad spicy from the ginger and garlic. Yum.
When you juice, for example, 5 carrots, 2 apples, 1 beet, 1 orange, (and whatever else you may think of) that’s a lot of sugar people! Have you ever sat down and were able to eat all those fruits in one sitting? Probably not. The fiber in the whole foods is what helps keeps you full which is why I am more a fan of eating the entire fruit (or at least making a smoothie). Everything in moderation.
1/2 sweet potato
bunch of carrots
1/2 red bell pepper
small chunk ginger
small chunk garlic
small handful of cilantro (optional)

I’m excited to make this juice pulp into muffins as they will be more of a savory-sweet muffin. Great snack throughout the day.
